We have evolved from a startup focused solely on e-liquid flavors into a high-tech enterprise spanning the vaping and food industries. Laying the Foundation with Vaping Flavors
Founded in the Ancient City of Xi'an
Xi'an Taima was officially established in 2008 in the ancient city of Xi'an, China. From the outset, the company adopted a technology-driven development path, concentrating all resources on the R&D of E-Liquid flavors and quickly building core technical capability.
This focus on a single, high-growth category allowed us to build a strong foundation of formulation expertise, supplier relationships, and quality discipline that would anchor every later expansion.
Strategic Expansion into Core Functional Ingredients
Entering the Functional Ingredients Arena
As the vaping market matured, Taima keenly identified the significant market potential and technical barriers surrounding Cooling Agents — a core functional ingredient category. We initiated dedicated R&D and production of cooling agents, broadening our core product portfolio.
This strategic move marked our transition from a single-category flavor house to a multi-ingredient sensory technology partner.
Deepening the Portfolio — Completing the Sensory Picture
Adding Sweeteners to the Sensory Toolkit
Building on notable success in cooling agents, Taima continued to deepen its portfolio of functional ingredients. In 2020, the company initiated the R&D and production project for Sweeteners, addressing a long-standing client need and completing the sensory value chain from aroma to mouthfeel.
Our offering now spans the full sensory spectrum, allowing clients to source multiple critical ingredients from a single, trusted partner.
Cross-Industry Expansion — Opening a New Chapter
From Vaping to Food Flavors
Leveraging over fifteen years of deep technical expertise in flavor chemistry, Taima made a forward-looking strategic decision in 2023 to expand into the Food Flavors sector. We are confident that the same rigor and innovation that built our vaping portfolio will deliver equally safe, stable, and high-quality flavor options for food and beverage clients worldwide.
Active participation in international exhibitions such as IECIE Shenzhen underscores our commitment to global market engagement.
